WordPress Users: Make links open in their own window without using a plugin. Here’s how!

Below is a DIV, HTML, and the CSS I used to have the links open in their own window.

Theme: Bootstrap Basic4

Widget: Text in the Header right position

To see this for yourself, visit CloningChrist.com.

On the top right of the page you’ll two links:

  1. Order Your Copy Today
  2. A Facebook graphic

Here’s the code that we developed. This code exists in the Text widget:

<div style=’width: 100% ; font-size: 3vmin ;  text-shadow: 4px 4px 10px grey ; font-style: italic ; font-weight: bold ; ‘>
<a href=”https://www.amazon.com/Wayne-English/e/B001P8BW7G” target=’_blank’ style=’float:right’>Order Your Copy Today!</a><a href=”http://www.facebook.com/webcontentrx” target=’_blank’>
<br><img src=”FILENAME” align=right style=’padding-top: 7px’></a>
</div>
